Happy fall! I’ve compiled a list of fun fall-related activities to enjoy with friends and family!  If you recently moved here and plan to visit some local farms and events, here is everything I'd recommend!

October 17-19

Admission is free! Enjoy seafood, arts and crafts, music and entertainment, children’s activities, exhibitor booths, and a workboat race.

October 17

This is an outside walking tour! This year’s edition includes explorations of the “Craven Clinic” (the old Fort Monroe hospital), the Post Office and Customs House, and stories surrounding the famed resident Edgar Allan Poe.

October 18 & 19 from 10am-5pm

Celebrate autumn at Hampton’s 60‑acre farm park with family fun including hayrides, a hay maze, blacksmith demonstrations, axe‑throwing, live entertainment, games, face painting, photo ops, seasonal food, and a pumpkin patch. Pets are not permitted inside the festival grounds.

October 24 & 25 from 6-9pm

There will be trick‑or‑treating, creative crafts and games, festive music and face painting, haunted houses, and spooky ships designed to be playful, not scary.

October 25, 11am-5pm

There will be artisans, crafters, food trucks, and activities along both sides of the 10200 & 10300 blocks of Warwick Blvd and the 90 Block of Main St in the Hilton Village Main Street commercial district. Have a ball with kids' activities, workshops, and more!

October 26

October 26 from 9am-3pm

Bring the whole family (especially your four‑legged friend!) to this event celebrating animals and adoption. There’ll be a pet portrait station, doggy trick‑or‑treating, costume parade, rescue organizations on‑site, chef demos, and more- all alongside the regular vendors of produce, baked goods, flowers, and artisan foods. Free admission!
