How do Realtors price a home?

Believe it or not, Realtors don’t price homes. We give our expert opinion. We take into account what is selling or has recently sold in the neighborhood. And we handle the contractual process of selling a home.

But we do not price homes.

The homeowners…and ultimately…the market decides what a house should “sell for.”

It’s true, home prices are high right now and, as a Realtor, I promise you that this is JUST as frustrating for me as it is for you.

I have clients who want to buy a home! And even when I list a home, chances are, that seller…becomes a BUYER, too. But many folks just can’t afford today what they could afford even just a year ago! Home prices are high.

But that’s not because of Realtors. And it’s not even because of greedy homeowners wanting some outrageous number.

It’s because the largest generation to date has come to home-buying age, and we have a chronic undersupply of homes.

It’s supply and demand. Got questions? Let’s chat.
