It's hard to let go of belongings when moving out of your house

Listen, I've seen this many times. When you go online and look at what homes are for sale in the Yorktown/Williamsburg area, everything looks really nice, high-end, and beautiful.
But that is not everyone's reality and not every future seller's situation. For example, yesterday, I was working at a listing that required a dumpster…and that’s OK!
Sometimes people struggle emotionally to let go (of the house or the items in it), and it feels overwhelming to move.
Sometimes there's the loss of a loved one, and the family is left not knowing how to proceed.
Sometimes people are moving out of the country or into assisted living and can’t take their belongings with them.
I'm here to tell you that you're not alone. You don't need to worry if you break out in tears during a consultation. There's no reason to be embarrassed, there's no reason to be ashamed. All you have to do is call me, and I'm happy to help you.
