In reality, my job is NOT to sell houses. Sure, it's what I do. But my #1 job is to promote this community. If I'm really going to be a valuable asset to my clients, then I need to be an expert on all things Yorktown/Williamsburg.

That means knowing which neighborhoods are most convenient to your kid's school or your job. That means knowing where you can realistically get the best "bang for your buck" when it comes to a budget. That means knowing if 10 miles takes 10 minutes or 30 minutes during rush hour.

But being a local expert means getting to do really fun things, too. For instance:

• The best pizza can be found at Vinny's Pizza and Pasta 2 in Yorktown (we sometimes just buy their dough and make pizza at home for pizza night)
  

• The best almond cake can be found at Carrot Tree Kitchens in Williamsburg (they made our wedding cake)
  

• The best sandwiches can be found at The Cheese Shop - Merchants Square in Williamsburg (you've got to get their house dressing on your sandwich!)
  

• The best playground can be found at Kidsburg in Williamsburg
  

• The best kids’ consignment shop can be found at Pea Soup in Yorktown

Being a Realtor means that my most important job is to be a megaphone for our community. On Sunday mornings you'll find me at Peninsula Community Chapel, then at 185 for brunch (love their breakfast burrito). I live, work, & play here in Yorktown and Williamsburg,.

And I love it.
