Looking for a real estate agent? The truth is that most people already know a real estate agent. In fact, most people already know several real estate agents. Crazy, right?

Pretty much everyone has a family friend (or someone they know from church or school) who is a real estate agent. But that doesn't mean you should hire them. The funny thing about real estate is that while thousands of people here in Yorktown/Williamsburg technically have a real estate license, very few do it as full-time professionals.

And, obviously, there's a HUGE difference in the service you get from a part-timer who "dabbles" and maybe sells a few homes a year... versus a professional agent who has invested their entire career into becoming a real estate expert.
